The timber

Slow-grown in cold country

Cold winters make dense timber. We choose spruce and heat-treated pine with even, tight grain, and plane every board to a furniture-grade finish.

The craftsmanship

Tradition before mass production

Every Bastukronan piece starts as raw timber in our workshop. It is planed, jointed and treated by hand. No moulds, no production line. Just craft at work.

The heart

Finnish Harvia löyly

Every sauna is fitted with a heater that has earned its heat. Harvia of Finland has 75 years of craft behind it. Stone-loaded, guarded and correctly sized for its room, it gives real löyly: soft steam that settles over you without biting.

The finish

Final inspection

The benches are sanded until they feel like river stone; glass, fittings and hinges are mounted and tested. Before your sauna is loaded for delivery we run one more check to be sure the quality is there. Only then does it carry the name BASTUKRONAN.

“I am proud to build saunas that I know can be passed from father to son, with quality that lasts for generations.”
